Zack FM is a local radio station based in the Forest Heath area of Suffolk. They have a terrestrial presence on 105.3 FM and DAB and also on the internet. The FM transmitter covers the three RAF bases of Lakenheath, Mildenhall and Feltwell which are home to a large community of stationed American listeners and UK civilian staff. Their DAB transmitter covers the area around Norwich and Cambridgeshire.
On the internet they have AAC, Vorbis and MP3 streams plus a MP3 webplayer on their website. In addition to information about the station, their website contains a comprehensive programme schedule. There used to be a test CD Quality Lossless FLAC stream but this has now been discontinued.
According to the station, “Our music policy is simple, “We Play Everything!” It’s not just our slogan – it’s a promise! Just tune in and have a listen. Throughout the day, Monday to Saturday you will hear classics from the seventies, eighties, nineties, noughties and teens – not forgetting the current charts hits of today too.”
