Spotify has launched its streaming service (13th March 2018) in Israel, Romania, South Africa and Vietnam. Users will have access to both Spotify’s free ad-supported and paid-for subscription services. Spotify, the world’s biggest streaming company filed papers for a direct listing with the New York Stock Exchange on the 28th March 2018. The Swedish firm declared that its 2017 revenue stood at €4.09bn compared with €2.95 billion a year earlier.
