SiriusXM reaches a record 31 million paying subscribers in Q1 2021 adding 126,000 net new subscribers in Q1 2021, an 83% increase from the 69,000 added in the first quarter of 2020. Total revenue increased 2% to $1.62 Bn with gross profit totalling $993 million, relatively unchanged compared to the first quarter of 2020. SiriusXM adds 909,000 subscribers in 2020 finishing the year with 30.9 million paying subscribers but with only a modest increase in revenue of 2% to $6.35 Bn. Pandora continues to lose listeners with monthly active users (MAU) down 7% from a year ago according to the latest Q3 2020 financial results from parent company SiriusXM. MAUs were 58.6 million in the third quarter, down from 63.1 million in the prior year period.
