UKRD to launch pop-up digital radio stations for Christmas

Commercial radio operator, UKRD Group, has announced that it will be launching ten digital pop-up Christmas radio stations this year. The in-App, Online and Smart Speaker enabled digital radio stations will launch in November and broadcast until the 31st December 2018. Digital radio overtakes AM and FM in UK

50.9% of all listening in the UK was digital in the first three months of 2018 according to radio research body RAJAR. This compares to 47.2% for the first quarter in 2017.
