Germany had 236 Bn streams in 2024 according to figures by the BVMI from data compiled by GfK Entertainment. This was 11% more than 2023 when 213 Bn streams were achieved. Within the last 6 years the number has more than doubled – in 2019 there were 108 Bn views. UK music revenues highest in over two decades thanks to streaming following a 2.3% increase in overall entertainment sales to £12 Bn in 2024, according to annual figures released by digital entertainment and retail association ERA. Podcast listening by US Latinos up 72% since 2020 according to the U.S. Latino Podcast Listener Report 2024 released by Edison Research in association with LWC Studios, Latino Media Network, Libsyn, SiriusXM Podcast Network, and Uforia Podcasts. The figures based on Official Charts Company data showed that 200.5 million albums or their equivalent were either streamed or purchased in 2024.
