SuperStereo Radio Chile is to launch a new Latin channel on Saturday 29th at 2am in the UK (Friday 28th June at 9pm New York time). The channel will be called SuperStereo Four Plus and according to Erik Jegó, CEO SuperStereo Network will be the last one to be launched because of the amount of effort required to digitise the content. He explains, “Most of the music recorded in the 80’s in the Latin market was only released in the vinyl format, although many artists were reissued on CD in the 90’s, a large part only remained on vinyl.  Together with the SuperStereo remastering team, we spent more than a year working to compile and restore this material, which will make it the only Spanish-speaking station broadcasting this music in high resolution. The style of the station will cover the best ballads and Latin pop of the 80s and 90s.”
