Spotify raises its download limit for offline listening from 3,333 songs on three devices to 10,000 songs on up to five devices. With a potential to store up to 50,000 songs this would give you over 100 solid days of offline listening. It would have to be a hellava wilderness trip to be out of internet access for longer than that and run out of music!
How to download songs in Spotify for a desktop device
- Switch on Download to the right of any playlist. You can also switch it on for all Songs in Your Library.
Note: It’s not possible to download albums or podcasts in the desktop app. - When it’s finished downloading, the Downloaded symbol appears to the right of the playlist name.
- Now, whenever you’re not connected to the internet, or when your app is in offline mode, you can still listen to what you’ve downloaded in the app.
