SoundCloud releases new creator education with ‘How to’ videos aimed at kickstarting music careers using SoundCloud tools and resources. The streamer has added a series of SoundCloud 101 videos containing best-in-class educational programming to its Creators on SoundCloud portal. SoundCloud has realised that not everyone has the time or inclination to read the full Creator Guide and so is producing a series of bite sized learning videos to get users the essential information they need.
The videos feature 95% very important info and ~5% footage of ‘SoundCloud being SoundCloud’. The two-minute videos will provide information varying from building a profile and writing an artist bio to tagging tracks and sharing your work.
Each short video focuses on a different topic so some might be more relevant to you than others, but Setting Up Your Profile would be a great place to start. It tells you how to get discovered, share your story and stand out using your artist profile. It provides your introduction to fans, fellow creators and industry reps, so it’s important to make sure it accurately reflects your brand.
