SoundCloud launches mobile profile editing which is creators top requested mobile feature enabling them to keep their profiles up-to-date when they’re on-the-go. Initial rollout started on 31st July on the SoundCloud iOS app.
The profile is one of the primary tools SoundCloud creators use to showcase themselves and their sounds worldwide to collaborators, promoters, press, music managers, and to connect with their fans in real-time. Unlike other streaming services, SoundCloud gives creators maximum control of their profile, and now provides the ability to update from anywhere, anytime.
Creators can simply tap a dedicated edit button at the top of their profile and change their imagery, location and bio details.
How to edit your creator profile
- Within the latest version of the iOS app, just go to your Library (bottom right)
- Tap the three dots (top right)
- Select ‘Your profile’
- Update your avatar, header image, location and bio details on the spot
- Once your profile’s freshened up, you can share it in just a few taps
