Shazam launches Radio Spins which monitors more than 40,000 radio stations from over 200 countries and regions to produce a Top 200 Global radio chart. For Shazam and Apple Music users you can either listen to the whole Global Radio Chart on Apple Music or filter by genre. Genres available are Alternative, Country, Dance, Electronic, French Pop, Hip-Hop/Rap, House, Latin, Musica Mexicana, Pop, R&B/Soul, Reggae/Dancehall, Rock, Singer/Songwriter and Worldwide. The Top 200 Global radio chart is also available to download as a csv file here.
For artists and record companies there is a Radio Spins API which allows them to explore spins by market, time of day, station, artist, and song, and create custom airplay reports.
