Periscope Radio (Periszkóp Rádió) is a Hungarian internet radio station based in the city of Pécs broadcasting an eclectic range of music from world folk music, through rock and electronic to experimental. It has a 256kbps MP3 and a CD Quality Lossless FLAC stream.
According to the station (translated via Google), “Periszkóp Rádió was started in 2006 in downtown Pécs as a small community radio broadcasting on the ground. Its basic purpose is to represent peripheral musical forms. Since 2011, it has been broadcasting only on the Internet. Currently, our linear thematic programs divided into hours can be listened to in a 24-hour broadcast stream. The radio is operated by the Moiré Cultural Association in cooperation with the Electronic Music and Media Department of the PTE Faculty of Arts .”
