Neil Young Archives introduces upgraded subscription plans which include access to Neil’s live performances and priority access to new features. Neil has introduced two additional tiers of membership, Rust and Patron, in addition to the current tier that has been renamed Classic. NYA’s Classic tier will continue to provide the same benefits plus a few extras. The cost remains the same – $19.99/year. Existing subscribers will not need to do anything, their subscription will continue as before.Rust ($39.99/year) will give access to two big new features, Timeline Concerts and Movietone Video on Demand. Timeline Concerts are audio recordings of Neil Young’s live concerts throughout his years of touring. Subscribers will be able to submit and read others’ memories and stories of the concerts they attended in the concert notes. Neil said, “We are beginning with several concerts and will be adding new ones – your requests! – if we have them!”
Classic members will be able to hear a new ‘Timeline Concert of the Week’ and read the memories of other members who saw that concert. New timeline concerts of the week
will be added regularly.
Movietone Video on Demand provides anytime access to movies, long and short videos. The Hearse Theater will continue to present curated offerings for all members as it now does.
The new Patron Tier ($99.99/year) provides the same benefits as Rust, but allows members to do more to support Neil’s effort to bring his work to fans. Neil Young continued, “In appreciation, we will always try to give our Patrons priority when we can.”
NYA is making Bridge School Concerts available for a $9.99 donation per concert. Proceeds all go to the Bridge School and are available for anyone – subscriber or not.
Existing subscribers who choose to upgrade will have their unused membership payment automatically applied. Many of the new features will only be available from the website at first, however over time, features will be added to the App. For App users, the next upcoming feature will be Playlists.
