Fruit Punch Music has launched a family friendly music service aimed at providing a ‘Spotify for Kids’. The ad-free music service is currently only available in the US and via an iOS app which can be downloaded via the Apple Appstore or from FruitPunchApp.com.
Content on the service which aimed at children up to 8 years of age gives families access to a wide variety of songs, all subjected to an industry-first multi-point approval process to ensure children never hear inappropriate language or subject matter.
Unlike other streaming services, parents can guide their child’s listening by setting daily time limits or blocking specific stations.
Fruit Punch Music is offering a 7-day free trial with unlimited access to all features and content. Subscription pricing is US $3.99 per month or US $24.99 annually.
Fruit Punch stresses its privacy credentials by collecting as little personal information as possible and guaranteeing that collected data is never sold to any third party. The app does not integrate with any social network or use any advertising platform and is fully compliant with the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
