The Eagles have soared to the top of the All Time Album Charts with the No. 1 and No. 3 top certified albums of all time according the RIAA, the US recorded music industry association. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is the best selling album of all time going 38 times Platinum with 38 million sales. Hotel California reached the No. 3 slot going Platinum 26 times with sales and streams of more than 26 million copies. Michael Jackson’s Thriller makes the No. 2 spot with 33 million sales.
British artists are well represented in the All Time Album Charts with Led Zeppelin at No. 5, Pink Floyd at No. 6, and Fleetwood Mac at No. 10. Surprisingly, The Beatles don’t manage to break into the Top Ten only managing No. 12 with The Beatles album selling a mere 19 million copies.

The Eagles have sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, scored six #1 albums and topped the singles charts five times. They have won six GRAMMY® Awards, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, in their first year of eligibility, and received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2016. The band has been touring in the US since the 12th March this year with dates running till the end of October – go here for details.
