Deezer SongCatcher now on iOS enabling mobile users to identify unknown tracks. Deezer’s proprietary audio recognition feature, SongCatcher, that identifies songs users don’t know or can’t remember was previously only available on Android devices.

Music fans who hear a song on TV, in a cafe, on the radio or anywhere within hearing range of SongCatcher, can immediately discover the name of an unknown song. Users can launch SongCatcher by using the search bar function in the Deezer app to find the name of the track and artist.

Deezer’s SongCatcher features

  • Ability to instantly recognize any song from a library of over 56 million tracks worldwide
  • Add newly identified tracks to your favourites and/or playlists within Deezer
  • Immediately play saved and favorite tracks on Deezer Premium from SongCatcher
  • Available for all Deezer users, including Free (Free users can only listen to saved songs in shuffle mode)

SongCatcher, powered by ACRCloud, is now available for all Deezer iOS and Android mobile users across the world and users can use this feature by updating their app.

Deezer currently connects 14 million monthly active users around the world to 56 million tracks and is available in over 180 countries worldwide.
