Deezer launches new ‘Asian Music’ channel with playlists for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Japan. Asian music is conquering the hearts of fans around the world with the help of bands like BTS and Perfume and the new channel builds on Deezer’s recently launched ‘K-Pop Channel’, which has driven a 157% boom in streams of the genre.
The brand new Asian Music channel is now available worldwide and features exclusive and personal playlists from the biggest artists across the continent such as Tabitha Nauser (Singapore) Gloc-9 (Philippines) Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (Japan) and Dipha Barus (Indonesia).
Deezer’s editors have also created dedicated playlists for each country, bringing fans local talent like Rahmania Astrini from Indonesia, Narelle from Singapore and Julie Anne San Jose from Philippines. Popular genres such as J-Pop and OPM will also be heavily featured across the channel to help fans find their favuorite acts or discover new genres from other countries.
