Deezer adds a new couples subscription plan called Deezer Duo that allows two people to have premium accounts at a third discount. A Duo account will cost £15.99/month compared to a single account which costs £11.99/month. For those who can or want to pay by annual subscription (£174.99) a further discount can be had which reduces the subscription to an equivalent of £14.58/month. Duo accounts have all the benefits of Deezer Premium including listening offline to all your favourites and creating individual playlists. Other Deezer features such as the ability to identify tracks or sing along to your favourite songs with SongCatcher and Lyrics are available. Deezer’s unique Flow feature which recommends songs based on your listening preferences and now access Deezer’s entire catalogue of over 120 million songs in lossless CD Quality.
Deezer Duo additional features
- You can connect to up to 5 devices across two profiles from a range of speakers, home devices and game consoles. The Admin account can be linked to 3 connected devices with the other account able to add a further 2 devices.
- You can set up a Duo member as an independent account with their own login details and password or as a sub profile associated to the main account
- Audio quality is CD Quality lossless FLAC on both accounts
- Listen simultaneously on multiple devices.
In the event that you cancel your Deezer Duo subscription you’ll still keep all your playlists and favourite tracks stored in Favourites, but your account will revert to Deezer Free. Any music you’ve downloaded to your device won’t be playable offline.
