Germany had 236 Bn streams in 2024 according to figures by the BVMI from data compiled by GfK Entertainment. This was 11% more than 2023 when 213 Bn streams were achieved. Within the last 6 years the number has more than doubled – in 2019 there were 108 Bn views. The figures based on Official Charts Company data showed that 200.5 million albums or their equivalent were either streamed or purchased in 2024.
