Apple Music expands song lyrics support adding seven additional countries to the existing supported list. Apple Music went into partnership with Genius in October 2018 to use its lyrics database and the initial rollout was to Australia, Canada, US and UK. As part of the agreement between the two companies Apple Music became the official Genius web-based music player.
The additional seven countries which now have song lyrics functionality are France, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa and Spain.
