Apple Music Classical adds 50,000 album booklets to its classical music app which launched in March 2023 following its acquisition of Primephonic in Autumn 2021. The digital album booklets contain in-depth liner notes, translations, composer biographies, and more.

In the past year, Apple Music Classical has seen its expansion into Asia and the launch of a Top 100 chart which ranks the most popular classical albums globally and is updated weekly. The app has also seen a number of upgrades with the addition of an Android app and an iPad app.

To listen to Apple Music Classical requires an Apple Music subscription (Individual, Student, Family, or Apple One) and is not available with the Apple Music Voice Plan.
