Audi has brought Amazon Music to its Audi Connect service. It brings the full Amazon Music streaming library of 50 million songs to drivers, accessible through their car’s infotainment system.
Using Audi’s Multi Media Interface (MMI) and the latest version of the free myAudi app on a mobile phone, users will have access to the full Amazon Music catalogue. Audi owners who subscribe to Amazon Music will also be able to access their favourites and playlists.
The navigation menus have been designed to give the same look and feel as accessing Amazon Music on a smartphone. Users can even use handwriting input to search for artists or songs.
During the 2018 World Cup Audi is offering customers a special information service to keep soccer fans informed about team news, match schedules, current scores, results and the standings even while on the road. The ‘2018 World Cup Ticker’ will run during June and July 2018 and will require an active data connection either via an Audi Connect SIM permanently installed in the car or the user’s own SIM card in the car.
Audi currently offers the service in Germany, USA, UK, France, Spain and Italy.
Amazon Music integration will offer users more choice as Audi already already added support for Spotify in its cars.
