Apple Music and Alexa now available in Australia and New Zealand joining the recently launched service in the US, UK and Ireland.
Apple Music subscribers can now listen to Apple Music’s 50 million songs on Amazon’s full range of Echo devices, including Echo Dot, Echo Plus and Echo Show. Apple Music subscribers will be able to ask Alexa to play their favourite songs, artists, and albums – or any Apple Music playlist. Alexa can be also be used to stream internet radio stations offering a range of popular genres like Hip-Hop, decades like the 80s, and music from around the world, like K-Pop. Ask Alexa to play Beats 1 to hear Apple Music’s global livestream including in-depth artist interviews – all completely ad-free.
In addition to Apple Music, Alexa in Australia and New Zealand also supports Deezer, Tunein, iHeartRadio, Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited.
