Over two thirds of music in Australia is streamed accounting for 70% of recorded music in 2018 according to ARIA, the Australian Record Industry Association. Google Play to shut Artist Hub at the end of April 2019 and is redirecting new users to YouTube for Artists. They are also suggesting they use YouTube’s preferred partners DistroKid, TuneCore and CD Baby If they would like to make their music available for purchase/download.
